The proceeds from the land sale have been re-invested in local policing and the force moved into a new headquarters to the south of the site. A NEW housing development on the site of the former Northumbria Police headquarters is nearing completion. Ashberry Homes is building 69 houses at Bridgemoor, Jameson Manor, off North Road in Ponteland. Construction work began on the site in 2019 and the final properties are due to be finished by early Summer 2021.
